1. Recruitment & Initial
Screening(J-1 visa, Area of Specialty: Culinary, Education)
-Most of recruitments are done by university seminars or on-line
promotions
-Resume and Cover Letter review for a program qualification based
on the candidate¡¯s background and career according to requirement
of the host employers
-Screening the applicants who pass the English proficiency test
by native interviewer
-Selecting the participants who have good manners and enthusiastic
personality by in person interview
2. Host Company Placement
J-1 Internship/Trainee(Hospitality, Culinary, Education,
Business and Others) Program
Intern21 arranges the phone interview between host company and
candidates at host company¡¯s convenience.
J-1 Work & Travel Program/H2B Program
Seasonal jobs are entry level positions such as Food Service,
Retail, Housekeeping and etc.. Inten21 needs only Offer Letter
for visa follow-up.
3. Legal Assistance
Intern21 handles all the visa processing and paper works for
the host employer at No Cost as follows:
-J-1 visa requires DS-2019 issued by J-1 sponsorship organization
designated by the Department of State.
-H2B requires the process of Labor Certificate, I-129 and I-797
through DOL and USCIS departments in the U.S.
4. Pre-Departure Orientation
-Job Description, Host Company requirements and contractual obligations.
-Visa regulation
-Details of travel and immigration entry into the U.S.
-Social Security Card procedures in the U.S.
-Housing & Medical Insurance information
5. Insurance
All participants are required to purchase a Health Insurance
Policy covering their program period before the departure.
6. Monitoring
Until all the participants successfully complete the program
Intern21 keeps monitoring and contacting them.
¢º J-1 Internship/Training
For the duration of a maximum 18 months(12months in Hospitality
Area), participants obtain
practical training opportunities based on the rotational training
plan. Simultaneously, the American host companies will benefit
from skilled and motivated trainees.
Requirements
- Between 20 to 34 years of age of University students, graduates,
or young professionals
- Must have advanced English proficiency
- Completed at least two years of university and preferably,
and/or required relevant work experience
¢º Work and Travel
The Work & Travel USA program allows full-time University
and College students to work in the U.S. for 2 to 3 months during
the summer or winter season to experience American Culture while
they are working. Most of the positions are entry level jobs
in the Amusement Park, Hotel, Resort, National Park, Ski Resort,
and etc.
Requirements
- Age of 18 to 28, full-time enrolled in a University or College
student
- Required a good English communication skills
- Must be active and enthusiastic personality ¢º H2B Seasonal Employment
The H2B program operates for the purpose of temporary or seasonal
employment in jobs for which there are not sufficient qualified
US workers available. The hospitality industry has, for sometime,
experienced a shortage of seasonal labor in jobs such as housekeeping,
food service, retail clerk, cook helper. H2B admission is limited
to seasonal jobs with a maximum duration of 10 months.

- English skill required by the position
- Must be active and enthusiastic personality
